Goostrey Badminton Club is a long established club of approximately
30 members.
We are friendly club with a good standard of badminton, and all the members are of
league badminton standard.
We play regularly on Thursdays evenings from 7:30 until
9.30 pm, at Holmes Chapel Leisure Centre, almost every week of the year.
The club is affiliated to
Badminton England and
Crewe and District Badminton League.
We run Mixed and Level Doubles Teams within the Crewe League, where we play matches with
other clubs in the area.
Our match night is Thursday and Friday at Holmes Chapel Leisure Centre
and the match season is from September to April. The club
has multiple league teams and standard varies from the top division to the bottom division.
Our annual membership fee, which runs from September to
August, is £120. and we take guests on a nightly basis for £5 per session. There is no
additional fee for club nights once you have joined. There is a reduced rate for junior members and
students.
